Workshop Overview
Unlock the creative potential of off-camera flash and transform your photography with this comprehensive, hands-on workshop. Whether you are shooting portraits, events, or creative projects, mastering off-camera flash will give you complete control over light, enabling you to craft professional images in any environment.
This intensive one-day workshop takes you from the fundamentals through to practical application, demonstrating how to use between one and five speedlights with various modifiers to shape, control, and direct light with precision. You will discover why moving your flash off the hot shoe opens up a world of creative possibilities, learn the impact of different modifiers on light quality, and gain the confidence to implement these techniques immediately in your own work.
Working with a professional model, you will observe live demonstrations throughout the morning before putting theory into practice during the afternoon session. By the end of the day, you will have hands-on experience with multiple lighting setups, a solid understanding of modifier selection, and the technical knowledge to integrate off-camera flash into your photography toolkit.
This workshop is designed for photographers at all levels who want to move beyond basic flash photography and develop a professional approach to lighting.

What You Will Learn
Why This Workshop Matters
Off-camera flash is one of the most powerful tools in a photographer's arsenal, yet many photographers avoid it because it feels technical or intimidating. This workshop demystifies off-camera flash and gives you the practical skills and confidence to use it creatively and professionally.
You will learn that great lighting is not about expensive equipment or complex setups. It is about understanding light, knowing how to shape and control it, and having the confidence to experiment. These principles apply whether you are shooting a corporate headshot, a wedding reception, a fashion editorial, or a personal project.
By the end of the day, you will have moved from theory to practice, from observation to hands-on experience, and from uncertainty to confidence.
