Join us for Studio Masters Photography Club, a monthly event designed for photographers of all levels who want to experience the Studio Masters approach, build their portfolio with stunning images, and learn in a supportive, hands on environment.

February 2026: The Hatter

Our Photography Club session features the whimsical and captivating character of The Hatter from Wonderland, brought to life by model Katelyn Eames. With costume and styling by Salli Gainsford, lighting by Mike Baker, and makeup by Sarah Eames, this session promises to deliver portfolio worthy images.

We have run Wonderland twice before, so we have a great selection of outfits for The Hatter, which we will change up throughout the session to give you variety and creative options.

What to Expect:

Studio Masters Photography Club is a monthly affair with a limited number of 12 photographers per session. We will be running our strongest past looks as well as introducing new creative concepts throughout the year.

During the session, you will have the opportunity to talk to Mike about the lighting setup and get detailed information on how the lighting works. We will also help you with your camera settings and provide guidance on technique, making these sessions open to all levels of photographers, from beginners to experienced enthusiasts.

What You'll Photograph:

We will change up The Hatter outfits throughout the session, and we will vary the lighting to give you multiple creative opportunities. There will be two different backdrops available:

1. Plain Backdrop: Perfect for cutouts and compositing practice. Ideal for photographers who want to develop their Photoshop skills and create composites.
2. Wonderland Styled Background: A beautifully designed Wonderland themed background where minimal post processing is required, giving you finished images straight from the camera.

This setup gives you the flexibility to work on your post processing skills at a later date. If you decide to join the Develop area, you will have access to over 250 hours of content to help you refine your editing techniques and bring your images to life.
