Before the year really kicks in with workshops, training days, client bookings, and all the personal projects you keep meaning to do. If you would like to go into the season feeling sharper, more confident, and properly in control of light and posing, this is a simple way to add serious capability in one focused day.

This is not a standard one to one mentoring day. It is a condensed, intensive day that combines the core content from four of my most popular training days into one practical, high impact session, built to get you up to speed quickly and give you a bigger, more reliable toolbox for the rest of the year.

Off camera flash can feel technical, and posing can feel like guesswork, but neither needs to be. In March I am offering this special price one to one day in the Cambridge studio, 9.30 to 4.30, designed to finesse the fundamentals and add tools you can use immediately.

I will demystify off camera flash so you understand what the light is doing and why, how to shape it, control it, and use it confidently rather than hoping it works. I will take that into outdoor work too, balancing flash with ambient light for clean, flattering results, including fill flash, flash to ambient ratios, and high speed sync so you can shoot wide open and still stay in control of bright daylight when you need to.

In the studio I will work through practical lighting patterns and variations with purpose, so you can create shape, depth, separation, and mood on demand, with setups you can repeat at home without expensive kit.

And I will cover female posing in a way that actually sticks. Posing is not magic or intuition, it is technique, and once you know what to look for and how to place someone, everything changes. You will stop guessing, your subjects will feel more confident, and your portraits will look more polished straight out of camera.
