How Our Like-for-Like Transfer Works
Licentiateship (LBPA) - Completely FREE
Already hold a Licentiateship with another photography body? We'll match it with our LBPA accreditation at no charge whatsoever.
Simply email us confirmation of your existing qualification, and we'll issue your permanent BPA Licentiateship. No assessment needed, no fees, no catches.
Associateship (ABPA) - Just £60
For photographers holding Associateship level qualifications, we offer like-for-like ABPA recognition for a nominal £60 submission fee. You'll need to submit 15 digital images for assessment by our senior judge - not to re-test your abilities, but simply to confirm eligibility and ensure alignment with BPA standards. Once approved, your ABPA qualification is yours permanently.
Fellowship (FBPA) - Just £85
Fellowship holders can transfer to FBPA recognition for £85, with a 20-image digital submission for senior judge assessment. Again, this isn't about re-proving your excellence - it's about confirming compatibility
with BPA standards and welcoming you into our permanent qualification system.
